Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Is Melissa Damaged Goods?

By Jeremy Carden

The-Haves-and-the-Have-Nots-tv-series-own-cancelled-renewed

After that jaw-dropping midseason finale, the question that a lot of HAHN fans are asking is whether or not Melissa is still a valuable part of Veronica’s plan.

With her father’s passing (as a result of Veronica not supplying him with his essential medication), Melissa was seen sobbing in a pool of her blood.

We will not know until the new episodes as to whether or not the baby is alright.

If the baby is not going to be born in a healthy state, will Veronica toss Melissa in the streets in order to start over?

Will she simply find another young woman that she can manipulate in order to get Jeffrey to live the life that she wants him to?

I go into more detail in the video below:

We all know that Veronica is a piece of work, but this is just too much! I cannot help but feel sorry for Melissa despite everything that she has done up to this point.

Yes, she has been a pawn in Veronica’s sick game. However, she has been mistreated by her ‘buyer’ (Veronica) for the sake of giving her a grandson.

the-haves-and-the-have-nots-s04e10-forget-the-bubble-real-hdtv-x264-crimson-large

Sadly, she has done all of this for her family. I cannot wait to see what will happen with her character in the next few months.

As always, please feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below in regards to what you think will happen next!

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Who is at Fault for Quincy Jr. Getting Shot?

By Jeremy Carden

OWN Haves

We were left with quite the midseason finale last Tuesday! That cliffhanger ending was one of the record books.

It is not clear as to whether or not Quincy Jr. is dead or barely hanging onto life after Warlock and his gang crashed into Hanna’s motel room and opened fire on the outnumbered Mitch and Benny.

The two barely managed to lift up the mattress in order to avoid being shot.

Screenshot_42

*War and his crew seem to be horrible with firearms because Benny and Mitch were literally right in front of them, but they could not manage to land a single bullet into their intended targets*

Unfortunately, Hanna and Little Q were not so lucky because some of the stray bullets went into the restroom that they were hiding out in.

Aside from asking the question about whether or not Little Q is still alive, a lot of fans are debating about who to place the blame on regarding this situation.

Screenshot_24

Is Hanna at fault? I mean, Hanna was he one that unintentionally lead one of War’s crew members to her motel because she was followed, and that was how he knew where to find them.

Screenshot_18

Is War at fault? Seriously, he was the one to open fire in the first place.

mitch and candace

How about Candace? She was the one that started this entire mess to begin with. However, she did pay War the $2 million that she promised which put her back into good terms with him again.

Then Mitch came into the fix by planting drugs in War’s car that lead to him getting arrested and blaming Candy Cane for him getting busted.

Who is the one we should be placing the blame on?

Well, I think you should check out the video below where I go into detail about who is responsible and who will feel guilty about this:

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Season 5 Mid-Season Finale Predictions

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

With the next episode being the last one before a hiatus, it is always a tradition of mine to layout my theories about what is going to go down!

Screenshot_33

Between Warlock crashing into Hanna’s motel room to Candace and Charles’ fling heating up, I cannot tell you how much is racing through my mind right now!

Of course, I break it all down in my video:

I think it is safe to say that Tyler Perry is going to leave us with an episode that will keep us talking until the second part of this season.

Screenshot_27

Hopefully, Wyatt will get the help that he needs to kick his drug habit to the wind. Not to mention, it looks like Katheryn is not playing any more games with Mr. Cryner. Along wit the fact that Benny is once again in the middle of the lion’s den with the cougar Veronica.

Let me know your thoughts on what is to come in the next episode. Be sure to follow me on my other social media sites to keep up to date with my HAHN reviews and videos.

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Who Will Get Shot?

Well fellow HAHN addicts, we have one again arrived at a mid-season finale that will surely give us more questions than answers!

If you have been wondering about my hiatus on blogs about the hit TV show, you might have missed the message about my recaps/theories being posted on Youtube. Towards the bottom of this blog, you will find links to my social media outlets.

I highly suggest subscribing/following my accounts to keep up with anything that I post. Trust me, I have been doing videos for nearly a year now, and they have not been getting the same number of views that my blogs have been.

That is why this blog is so important because it will contain my video about who gets shot in the new episode.

Screenshot_45

Warlock and his crew follow Hanna back to the motel and a fight breaks out! We see Hanna, Mitch, Benny and Quincy Jr. (most likely still tucked away in bed) come face-to-face with Warlock as he literally crashes through the door.

Mitch and Benny are outnumbered, and War pulls out his gun in the middle of the scuffle. Hanna pleads for everyone to stop, and we see War fire a bullet…

Screenshot_42

But who will get hit by the bullet?

For my full breakdown of the scene based on the preview trailer, be sure to watch my video below. I go into extreme detail about my thoughts just like I used to do in the blog.

Again, if you have not done so already, I urge you to subscribe to my Youtube channel. I will most likely continue to market my videos this way. You know create the blog with the video in the post that way you are able to keep up with what I am doing.

Screenshot_31

Considering we have to wait until the summer before we get more HAHN, I will still continue to make videos, blogs and memes during the hiatus. Something tells me this next episode will give us a lot to talk about!

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and The Have Nots Theory: Candace Gets the Haves out of Jail

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

January 5th will be here before you know it, and Season 4 will be gracing the screens of our televisions once again. I am truly excited to know that it is now officially less than a month before the HAHN makes it glorious return!

vb3oy

Recently, I posted a meme on Facebook and Twitter outlining the last 3 blogs that I would do before the show came back.

Thankfully, I was able to come up with a blog topic that I never thought of until today! I still plan on writing blogs about the 3 topics above.

Screenshot_11

It is a theory about Candace doing something that is highly unexpected of her. My prediction is that Candace gets the Haves (Jim, Katheryn, David and Veronica) out of prison!

You are probably wondering why in the world she would do something “nice” like that. Not to mention, I think it is also going to be a bit difficult for her to do such a task given the circumstances:

Screenshot_10

  1. It is unknown whether or not Professor Cannon gave Candace a new letter allowing her to skip to the bar exam before he was killed. Remember that when Jim had movers take Amanda’s things from Candace’s apartment, he also had Candace’s possessions taken as well; including the original letter Cannon gave her in exchange for telling Amanda to stop stalking him. Candace did call him to ask for a new letter, but it is never mentioned if she got the letter from him off-screen.

12006081_887584401331038_8628378199341240651_n

  1. Candace and Jeffrey have enough on their plate with Quincy’s (potentially) dead body on the floor!

Screenshot_37

What would make Candace even want to help out the Cryers and Harringtons?

I think it comes down to 2 reasons that may or may not end up being linked together:

  1. Hanna forces her daughter to do something to help the Haves
  2. Candace has her own motives for wanting to get them out of jail

Why would Hanna make Candace get them out of prison?

12011162_10153592432058119_8676135903021593258_n

Remember that Candace never explained to Hanna and Benny how she came into that much money (millions of dollars), and at some point she will have to tell the truth. I can imagine that Hanna would not find out about everyone being sent to prison until she goes to work the next day.

Screenshot_21

True, she does not have a house and have Quincy Jr. in her care at a hotel (or motel). If she does not go to work, I can imagine that she will do something in order to give Quincy Jr. a place to stay. Aaliyah said that she would come back for a home check, and Hanna will need something to present to them to secure that little Q is in her custody.

Screenshot_12

She will go to Benny’s house, admit that her house was destroyed by Quincy Sr. or ask Katheryn for the help that she turned down a few episodes ago.

After finding out that her boss is now in jail, the secrets will have to come out of the closet.

Screenshot_33

Hanna is still in the dark about the Haves covering up for Wyatt hitting Benny and Little Lizzie. Wyatt almost told her, but Veronica stopped him before he could.

Going back to what I said before, if Hanna does find out about Candace extorting the money from Jim; she will make her get them out of jail as reparations for what she did (not sure if that will happen if she knows about the cover up of Benny being run over).

Haves-and-Have-Nots

Candace would have her own reasons to get them out of jail. It would be “nice” to at least get Katheryn out of prison. Benny would have been dead if Katheryn did not help to move him into another hospital! Candace was even surprised when Benny told her about that.

I am not sure why she would get David and Veronica out of jail. Unless Jeffrey pulls the “if I didn’t save you when I did; Quincy would have killed you” card making her do it!

Screenshot_9

Jim on the other hand…

CMLEbUcWUAAmZSV

Candace has no money at this point, and it is really because of David sending Brandon (Oscar) into her life to take it back. Her fury is directed at Jim (mistakenly), and she could keep him in jail.

I think that she will visit him with a choice to make. Of course, each time Jim is not in a position where he can come out on top. She will get him out of jail on the condition that he gives her money (either the same amount or more than she originally took), or he rots behind the prison bars.

12072721_1261576870535095_112248355617356106_n

Let’s say he agrees in order to be released, she still has the photos and sex taps from the War Room as blackmail to check him in check. I can imagine that Jeffrey finds out about her parents being locked away (thanks to Wyatt) on TV or something, and then Candace finds out.

She will use this to her advantage in order to get what she wants (money and revenge). In any case, I have explained why she will potentially get them out of prison. Now, I have to speculate on how she is going to pull this off.

The-Haves-and-the-Have-Nots-Season-1-Episode-20-Unanswered-Calls

I mean if she does not have the letter from Cannon, she will have to cram to pass the bar exam. She could work with Maggie or someone in order to get a “fake” degree to be the lawyer representing the Haves.

Remember that when Tony had Hanna in court for Benny to be taken off of life support, Candace walked into the front of the court in an impressive display of knowledge that held the final court decision off (without her degree!).

As Hanna told her, if she really put her mind to her law studies, she would make an amazing lawyer some day! This would be her chance to do it because of the stakes being so high.

Screenshot_15

Wyatt said that he would testify against his parents and the Harringtons in court. Will he admit to the hit-and-run charges in a public courtroom? If so, how in the world will Jennifer make it so that he gets no jail time?

Can you imagine Candace in court representing the Haves, and she is performing a pretty good case making it appear as if they are really going to be released.

Screenshot_26

However, Wyatt makes a surprise appearance during the case to go to the stand. Candace finds out why Wyatt is there and is shocked to learn that he hit Benny! Jeffrey knows about this but has not told Candace…

Either way, this is going to be very interesting in the grand scheme of things! How do you think this will go down?

Screenshot_28

Will Candace help the Haves get out of prison? Will the Haves be stuck behind prison bars? Will Candace get her revenge on Jim? How will Candace react when she learns about Wyatt hitting Benny? Can Candace regain her lost fortune?

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Maggie Is the Killer!

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

The season finale is coming soon! Tuesday will be here before you know it, and fans have been pulling out their hair because of their anticipation!

Who will die? Who will live? What lies will be brought to the surface? Whose chicken will come home to roost?

Screenshot_28

Now the title of this blog might have you thinking that I have Maggie Day pegged as the killer during the season finale. I suppose you could say that, or you should realize that she has already “killed” someone!

Who am I referring to?

Screenshot_29

It all occurred during last week’s episode, and her encounter with the Ice Queen herself!

The clip above was my FAVORITE part of last week’s episode!

io;iop

Maggie revealed to Veronica that she knows about her affair with 23-year-old Benny Young, but has not blown the whistle on her to David.

When Veronica asks why Maggie has not snitched to David, she tells her that it has to do with timing. From there, Maggie reveals her plan to have David run for governor.

Screenshot_27

Veronica scoffs at the idea because she thinks that Maggie has her own hidden agenda. Maggie brought up the fact that Veronica would not shy away from being the First Lady, but Veronica is quick to call her potential bluff.

I mean when you look at things from Veronica’s perspective (I can’t believe that I just said that), you would also be suspicious of Maggie’s intentions. Sure, Maggie was 100% honest with Veronica about how she feels about David. I will give her the credit she deserves, but she was still chasing after a man who is married!

The fact that Maggie said that she did not reveal Veronica’s affair to David because of timing has me thinking that she has a hidden agenda. She could be trying to get David in the governor’s mansion, and wait for Veronica to blow the marriage (which she has already done) before making her move.

Screenshot_35

Like it or not, Maggie is potentially the most dangerous and cunning character on the show in her own way. It has never been revealed if her persuading Veronica to bail out Quincy from prison was a “double agenda.” We know that her intention was getting Q out in order to get Candace under control to stop her from ruining Jim’s campaign. However, she might have anticipated a man that has been in prison for 3 years would be instantly attracted to the first woman that he laid eyes on after all of that time; Veronica was most likely the first woman her has seen in 3 years!

screenshot_18

That could be why he was so persistent with having sex with her on multiple occasions! I don’t know…Maggie might have planned that out. Aside from having Q being a dog off the lease, she could also use that as ammo against Veronica if she blows the whistle to David about it!

So at this point, Maggie knows about Veronica’s affair with Benny AND has the proof of Veronica bailing Q out of jail! Veronica told David that she did that at the Sarandon Hotel, and caused an even bigger rift in their marriage.

the_haves_and_the_have_nots_s01e23_mp41879

Veronica is basically doing Maggie’s dirty work for her, and she is running her own marriage as a result. This is EXACTLY what Maggie has been trying to do all along!

David told Veronica that the breaking point of their marriage would be if she has been screwing around behind his back, and that was right before she handed him the divorce papers.

Maggie has the final bullet needed to kill the Ice Queen, but has yet to pull the trigger…

You are probably wondering who she “killed” last week, and I will tell you the person that she killed.

Screenshot_30

Did you notice the two masks that were hanging on the wall near the front door of Veronica’s new house?

As she was leaving, Maggie said that she loved the décor of Veronica’s new house. What made this scene even more perfect that it already was involved Maggie bringing up something that was mentioned during her first meeting with Veronica.

Do you recall the first encounter of Maggie, Veronica and Katheryn? It was during the early episodes of Season 2 after she agreed to be Jim and David’s campaign manager. Maggie had a brief meeting with their wives to introduce them to her strategy for the campaign.

Screenshot_33

Never one to beat around the bush, Maggie noted that Veronica’s wardrobe and fashion sense was too flashy. After she left, it was clear that she did not make friends with Veronica and Katheryn.

When she was leaving Veronica’s house, she mentioned that the décor was nice without being too flashy. Veronica then threw the folder containing the photos of her and Benny at Maggie. It did not hit her intended target, but it knocked down one of the masks on the wall.

After Maggie closed the door, Veronica fell to the floor in tears and frustration. If you ask me, the mask hitting the ground was almost a form of symbolism.

11026595_10204874368485613_6997965045096577265_n (1)

The two masks could represent different things about Veronica’s personality:

  • One mask represented the facade Veronica had regarding her marriage
  • One mask represented the facade of Jeffrey NOT being gay

Maggie’s speech to Veronica about how David loved her and did not have an affair “killed” one of Veronica’s personalities.

Screenshot_43

The persona or “mask” that wanted revenge against David for cheating on her!

Yes, Maggie Day “murdered” someone in last week’s episode!

Now the mask falling on the floor (with Veronica doing the same) reminds me of the expression about picking your face up off of the ground.

Screenshot_39

In the finale, it appears that Veronica is going to try correct two of her mistakes:

  • She tries to cut ties with Benny by ending their affair, but it does not look like he wants that to happen
  • She goes to David’s office and tells him to take the opportunity by running for governor

Screenshot_37

She is even seen on stage beside David as Jim is about to give his speech about dropping out of the race for office, but it is unknown whether or not he will bow out or continue to run.

What has me curious is if Jim does decide to quit the race, will David walk to the podium and reveal that HE is running?

Screenshot_36

He did not want to run without consulting his “friend” Jim, but for him to be pushed in that direction by his wife…this finale is going to be interesting to say the least.

It is still unknown if the impact of Veronica learning the truth about her husband’s affair will cause her to think twice about how she has treated Jeffrey (the second mask on the wall), but I could see her potentially being killed in the finale.

CN6OvcoWgAA932g

Aside from the hit that Jim put out on her (as well as Cannon and Terrell), it would not surprise me if the Ice Queen gets killed just as she is trying to make things right in her life. After all of the harm she has caused, Veronica has a lot to answer for.

Screenshot_7

I know my whole theory on the masks being symbolism for Veronica’s personality might be a result of me reading too much into this, but I’m a HAHN addict (this is what I do)! If the masks were actually written into scene for symbolism, I give applause to whoever put that in there!

Screenshot_1

Also, I am a sucker for continuity, and Maggie Day delivered by referencing what she first told Veronica about her flashy personality! If I am not mistaken, I read somewhere that Maggie was not even supposed to be in the series for this long. However, that changed and she has become a major player at the HAHN table if you ask me.

6a00d834515c2369e201901b7bc445970b

Somehow, the Grinch’s heart also grew three sizes that day, but is it enough for Veronica to make peace with her family?

Screenshot_34

Will David and Jeffrey forgive her? Will Veronica call off the wedding that she posted about in the newspaper? Is Maggie trying to take the position as First Lady for herself? Will Veronica die in the finale?
