Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Is Melissa Damaged Goods?

By Jeremy Carden

The-Haves-and-the-Have-Nots-tv-series-own-cancelled-renewed

After that jaw-dropping midseason finale, the question that a lot of HAHN fans are asking is whether or not Melissa is still a valuable part of Veronica’s plan.

With her father’s passing (as a result of Veronica not supplying him with his essential medication), Melissa was seen sobbing in a pool of her blood.

We will not know until the new episodes as to whether or not the baby is alright.

If the baby is not going to be born in a healthy state, will Veronica toss Melissa in the streets in order to start over?

Will she simply find another young woman that she can manipulate in order to get Jeffrey to live the life that she wants him to?

I go into more detail in the video below:

We all know that Veronica is a piece of work, but this is just too much! I cannot help but feel sorry for Melissa despite everything that she has done up to this point.

Yes, she has been a pawn in Veronica’s sick game. However, she has been mistreated by her ‘buyer’ (Veronica) for the sake of giving her a grandson.

the-haves-and-the-have-nots-s04e10-forget-the-bubble-real-hdtv-x264-crimson-large

Sadly, she has done all of this for her family. I cannot wait to see what will happen with her character in the next few months.

As always, please feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below in regards to what you think will happen next!

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Will Warlock Kill Candace’s Son?

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

This is a last-minute video that I created before the finale about my thoughts on if Little Quincy is the victim of Warlock’s assault during his search for Candace:

Honestly, I did not want to make this video because the topic is about the potential death of a child. However, this show has proved that no one is exempt from the possibility of falling prey to the malicious acts of the ill-will of others.

e0d3b1cbeab079b5647a690bacaaa41e

A heavy topic for sure, but in terms of story-driven plot points, this is one of the most powerful that Tyler Perry could come up with.

If Candace’s son is killed, who do you think will take the death the hardest; Candace or Hanna?

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and The Have Nots Theory: Will Warlock Kill Wyatt?

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n (1)

Wyatt is back to his old self again, and that can only lead to trouble…

Keep your thinking caps on for the duration of this blog because I hope to connect everything that we have seen so far into one full circle!

This blog not only has to do with Wyatt’s bad habits, but it involves people who were once background characters. Now they have stepped into the forefront as key players that will have a much larger role in how things at this point in the series will play out.

Screenshot_178

I am referring to characters like Warlock and Jennifer. Until now, these 2 characters have made cameo appearances in the past 3 seasons. However, they now seem to be holding enough cards in their hand to remain seated at the table along with some of the more major characters on the show.

Wyatt’s parents are in prison (at least for the weekend), and Jennifer is relying on him to testify in court. Her vendetta seems to be entirely directed at Jim Cryer, and Wyatt is her most lethal bullet.

Screenshot_180

She has now released the $12 million inheritance into the hands of this “responsible young man.”

This is where I think that things will backfire in Jennifer’s face…

Screenshot_45

Based on their last encounter, Wyatt expressed some fear because he knows that his parents will kill him for what he did to them. I think his fear is more towards Jim instead of Katheryn. Jim did beat him last season, and threw him into jail (which resulted in him getting sexually abused).

Jennifer’s main reason for giving him the money was for her prize evidence to get away to a safer location.

Despite telling Jim in Season 2 that he would never want to get high again, he has one of his old buddies bring him some of the “good stuff.” He also brought Wyatt the papers from Veronica’s facility that proves he made it through a majority of his stay in rehab.

Screenshot_207

Not only does he have the means to get high, but he now the resources to pass any drug test that he has to take.

The “friends” that Wyatt’s supplier wants to bring over like in the old days could cause one hell of a house party. I can imagine Katheryn’s face if she gets out of jail…

c640x360_36

She gets home and she’ll walk through her wrecked house filled with high, drunk and passed out “kids” while wearing a face like Madea when Joe threw a house party when she was in jail.

Screenshot_208

During the conversation, the one thing that stuck out to me was how the dealer said that Wyatt had to pay him the $80,000 for the big bag of drugs. His supplier would kill him AND Wyatt if he does not get the money.

Wyatt tells him not to worry because he will be getting $12 million very soon, and wants his friend to be his “main man.”

Screenshot_209

Ironic that Wyatt is going to lose his money in a smoke cloud of weed, and Katheryn said that Amanda would simply give her money away to the first person that asked for it.

Screenshot_152

What does any of this have to do with Warlock?

My theory is that Warlock is the supplier for Wyatt’s dealer. We know that he slings drugs around, and is practically the kingpin of Savannah.

download

Remember that Benny got about $2,000 worth of drugs to plant on Quincy so that he could be put away in jail for good.

The only other person who I would think gave him the drugs would be Quincy, but I think there is more supporting evidence for Warlock.

Screenshot_190

Here is how I think things will come around full circle:

For whatever reason, Wyatt is not able to testify in court against his parents. Not to mention he does not get his $12 inheritance from his grandfather which leads to his dealer NOT getting paid.

This means the dealer’s supplier does not get paid leading to a signed death warrant for both Wyatt and his friend.

3938178-tumblr_mylmketzcz1qaonh9o1_1280

I could not help but think about the movie Friday because we have 2 friends who are getting high, but their lives are in jeopardy because they do not have the money to pay off the drug supplier!

The reasons for Wyatt not testifying is that he does not pass the drug test, he overdoses or even worse; dies.

Screenshot_225

In the preview for the next episode, we see Wyatt in a suit and tie. Looks like he is in a restroom preparing to go into court or meet with Jennifer. It looks like he just took the stuff to clean himself up before going undetected during the drug test.

Again, I am not 100% certain how everything is going to play out, but Jennifer is going to lose her grip on Jim through Wyatt. She has way too many cards in her hands, and he is just a loose cannon.

Screenshot_206

Wyatt ends up biting off more than he can chew because let’s say that he does not get his full inheritance (even though the judge signed off the paper’s in the last episode).

Something is going to happen that prevents him from paying the $80k for the drugs that he, his dealer and possibly the group of friends who were invited to the Cryer Estate.

Screenshot_197

Warlock comes looking for the money, and after finding out that it is Jim Cryer’s son who owes him; he will come knocking on the front door.

Screenshot_216

Remember that Candace stated that Jim is afraid of Warlock, but Warlock is also furious at her for lying about how much she extorted from him.

Screenshot_220

I cannot say if it will be a “friendly” encounter between Warlock and Jim if they meet face to face again. I think it depends on what Warlock does in next week’s episode because he was about to kill Candace before noticing Quincy’s dead body on the floor.

If he dismisses anything she says before leaving, I think he will do what he can to get back at her or something along those lines. In the end, he knows that the Cryer family has more than enough money to pay the $80k in order to preserve Wyatt’s life.

ep202-own-hhn-5-949x534

For all we know, Jim might concoct a plan WITH Warlock to get back at Candy Cane. I bet he will pay him a lot more than $80k or $150k for his services.

Jim told David that the war between himself and Candace was not over as he blames her for Amanda’s death. He did get his revenge by killing Professor Cannon because he raped her.

Screenshot_146

I think that since it takes around 3-4 episodes just for 1 full day to pass in the HAHN series, it might be safe to assume that the Haves will get out of jail around the middle of the season.

Screenshot_221

Though we know that thinks to Maggie, David will be getting out much sooner than that.

11214730_1224279967598119_2389780844084131219_n

He has a bone to pick with Benny for sleeping with his wife…

Screenshot_78

Overall, Wyatt is going to ruin everything because of his bad habits, Jennifer is going to lose her best chance at revenge against Jim and Warlock is going to play a much larger role in the grand scheme of things.

What do you think about this theory? Will Jennifer and Warlock be major players in the upcoming episodes? Is Wyatt going to overdose or die? Who is the mystery supplier?

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and The Have Nots Theory: The Waters Run Deep Review

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

If you have read my blog about Maggie screwing herself over in the last episode, then you knew that this blog was coming.

At this point, I have watched the new episode 4 times already!

Honestly, I felt a bit “meh” after watching it. The first time that I watched it, I did not feel that I watched it as critically as I should have in terms of looking for clues to fuel my theory blogs. I was feeling the hype just because my favorite show was back on television!

The next day, I watched the show 2 times, but I still had an uneasiness feeling about it. Finally, I rewatched the episode today before writing my blogs before next week’s episode.

Screenshot_5

Honestly, you can breakdown the 45 minute episode into this small list:

  • 3 minutes recapping the previous season
  • 10 minutes of Jeffrey whining while Candace tries to calm him down
  • 5 minutes of Benny trying to convince Hanna to come to his house
  • 3 minutes of Hanna trying to convince Benny that the house is evil
  • 3 minutes of Veronica and Katheryn arguing against everything while entering the prison
  • 3 minutes of David and Jim silently entering the prison
  • 3 minutes of Jennifer playing Wyatt to testify and get him some of his inheritance
  • 30 seconds of both the male and female “Haves” groups reacting to phrase “cavity search”
  • 4 minutes of David and Jim threatening each other
  • 4 minutes of Veroninca concocting a plan to get herself and Katheryn out of prison
  • 20 seconds of Quitta leaving Quincy voicemails about if he got Benny or not
  • 2 minutes of Jennifer convincing the guard that her plan against the Haves will work
  • An unforeseen amount of time (probably the entire episode) of Veronica plotting her revenge
  • 8 minutes of Maggie and Landon going back and forth over leaking a story to the media

I can sum up the episode with just one word; setup.

As expected, this episode was supposed to be the setup for what is to come during the rest of Season 4.

Here is my problem with that; we saw characters who received great character development during Season 3 slam right into the wall during this episode!

Screenshot_36

The main characters that I am referring to are Maggie and Jeffrey. If you would like to get all of my thoughts on Maggie, you can read about it here. It is a blog dedicated to Maggie essentially digging her own grave by putting out the story about Jim and Veronica.

Both Maggie and Jeffrey got a good deal of character development last season, but now they have relapsed into the trap that most characters on this show fall into; stupid decision-making!

Screenshot_39

Again, you can get my full thoughts on Maggie in my other blog. You could tell that she was making a rash decision JUST to make a rash decision about leaking out that story! Landon was quick to call her out MULTIPLE times, but she still was willing to have the nation know that Jim covered up Wyatt’s hit-and-run charges alongside Veronica who was having relations with her clients (Benny).

He kept telling Maggie that they covered up a murder, and they are capable of anything. This includes coming after her in a rage over her actions. When told that she should not underestimate Veronica, Maggie replied that she should not underestimate her either.

Screenshot_42

Seriously, Maggie was always at the top of her game, and by the end of Season 3; she had Veronica right where she wanted her. All she had to do was sit on the sidelines, and she could have let the rest fall into place. Instead, she is signing her own death warrant.

Screenshot_8

Jeffrey is another character that stood up to Veronica, and then to person that he loves (Wyatt)! Basically, he has had enough of anyone giving him crap for his homosexual lifestyle. Even though his mom had him in an arranged marriage and trip to parenthood; Jeffrey had enough!

After Quincy nearly beat him to death last season, Jeffrey flips the script by stabbing the thug to death to save Candace’s life! What a way to end the season for Jeffrey right?

Unfortunately, this new bad ass Jeffrey is replaced with a 5-year-old version of himself. You know the Jeffrey we saw back in Season 1…

Screenshot_10

I can understand that someone like Jeffrey would react to his first kill in a similar fashion to what he did in the episode. However, it was his constant complaining and dumb decisions that made me cringe!

The argument that he and Candace had about calling the police and what they would do reminded me of that episode of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air  when Will was talking to Carlton about why the cops pull over black people in nice cars.

You have one black person who was born on the other side of the tracks, but knew how the system works (Will/Candace). The other black person lived a pampered lifestyle, and felt that they knew how the system worked (Carlton/Jeffrey).

I do not know if the cast or Tyler Perry wrote that bit into the episode, but props to whoever came up with that!

Screenshot_7

Looking at the scene again, I could not tell whose side I was really on. At first, I was with Jeffrey because he was talking about how it was self-defense.

Screenshot_17

However, Candace used that lawyer brain to good use with terminology and facts to back up why calling the police was a bad idea. The final nail in the coffin for me was when she said that Veronica could use this to her advantage to keep Jeffrey wrapped around her icy fingers.

Overall, Jeffrey is the kind of person I would not want to be lost anywhere with or get into any trouble with because he would either panic, snitch or does something dumb to give us away…

Again, I get that he was not thinking straight, but he was about to walk out of the front door covered in blood!

Screenshot_61

I cannot fault him for not wanting to move the body because I cannot stand the sight of blood, but Candace can’t move Quincy herself! I just hope that he can man up for a little bit, and help Candace get through this rather than slow her down.

What I wanted to see happen was Jeffrey being shocked at the murder, but got reassurance from Candace that it was alright. Then she could have brought up the fact that Quincy nearly killed him before last season when he did not tell him where Candace was hiding. This could have made Jeffrey a bit more secure knowing that he stopped a murderer from hurting anyone else.

Screenshot_13

Jeffrey (still shaken) would have calmed down for the moment. However, during random moments throughout the season, he would have flashbacks and nightmares of the killing. This would cause him to find a way to cope. Perhaps with alcohol or even drugs as his crutch because there might be a chance that addictive genes flowed from Veronica into Jeffrey.

Jim called out Katheryn for blaming her raging alcoholic father as the reason that Wyatt is prone to pick up a bottle. The same could be true for Jeffrey since his mother was addicted to pain pills once, and stayed away from alcohol for years because she was also addicted to the bottle.

Any of these scenarios would have been great character development rather than Jeffrey whimpering and possibly snitching on what went down in Candace’s house.

Screenshot_1

Seeing characters that are intelligent, but make dumb decisions just for the sake of making dumb decisions does not appeal to me. It makes it feels as they do it on purpose to put themselves in vulnerable positions for the sake of moving the plot along.

It reminds me of Jim going outside to meet Candace in the front yard only to be kidnapped by Warlock’s crew. Not to mention Candace agreeing to meet the overly compliant Jim in the park at night only to be kidnapped by the Malones.

Basically, characters who are in control allow their emotions to get the better of them which results in them screwing themselves over.

Screenshot_34

Maggie is desperate to get David’s named cleared, and to get him out of prison. Jim was looking for comfort after getting his ass handed to him by Quincy. Candace was distraught after Benny died, and she thought that she had nothing left to lose. That was why she made the demands to Jim, and revealed that she was carrying his child. Remember that she thought Benny was dead before it was revealed that Katheryn had him moved to another hospital.

I just hope that this theme does not continue to repeat itself in future seasons because it does not make the characters look good in my opinion.

Screenshot_45

Wyatt is getting played by Jennifer, and that is really all I have to say about that. I think that he is being a bit too compliant with everything she is telling him. Her vendetta is against Jim, but she is also trying to get justice for Little Lizzie.

Seriously, if Wyatt testifies that he was the one to hit Lizzie, but his parents and the Harringons covered it up; where does that leave him?

oprah.com-20150826-hhn-222-promo-2-949x534-550x309

Jennifer promised him immunity, but where is he going to go? The Haves were arrested on television, Jim’s outside kids with Celine was broadcasted all over national television and the original story about the hit-and-run quickly traveled across Georgia.

Everyone in the U.S. will know Wyatt was the one to do the crime, but I still do not get how he won’t get any time!

Screenshot_78

Wyatt might not be doing drugs anymore, but alcohol is his new crack. He was already an alcoholic, but this is ridiculous! I bet he will have a field day while his parents are in prison over the weekend.

Basically, he is fine with getting payback for what they did to him, and Jennifer is using him for her own purposes.

Screenshot_57

I think Hanna HAS to come to Benny’s house because he made a good point about child services knowing that her house burnt down. What is she going to do?

They will not allow her to maintain custody after learning that her and Quincy Jr. are staying at a motel.

Screenshot_65

Quitta is wondering where her brother is without knowing that he is bleeding out on a floor. Not sure if she knew the location of Candace’s house, but she might be in more episodes if she does know.

However, Quincy probably went to Hanna’s house and then Candace’s. My guess is that Quitta is in the dark about the location of the house; at least for right now.

Screenshot_67

Did anyone notice Quincy’s chest move a couple of times, or think that his hand moved when his phone was ringing?

Screenshot_49

Obviously, the long-awaited Jim vs. David fight is coming. These two went back and forth the entire episode either verbally or through body language.

Screenshot_53

David has made it clear that if anything happens to his wife; Jim is gonna get it.

Screenshot_54

Jim wants nothing to do with David because he covered for Veronica about what she did to Wyatt.

I think that David and Katheryn are the MOST DANGEROUS characters in the series. Katheryn told Candace that she does not want to awaken the true bitch in her.

David told Veronica that sometimes he can be a son of a bitch. Then he told Jim that he is a good friend, but a better enemy. Also, he will unleash an enemy the likes of which he has never seen. He says that line a few times in the episode. I’m assuming that is his new catchphrase. Remember when it was “I’ll handle it?”

Screenshot_72

We saw in the preview for next week that if anything happened to her son, Katheryn was going to give Veronica something to fear!

I am telling you that these two are slow to anger, but they will win every time! David has already yanked the $7.4 million rug from underneath Candace’s feet.

Screenshot_20

Funniest part of the episode was obviously the banter than Veronica and Katheryn had while entering the prison. From removing their jewelry, Veronica taking off her hair and the threat of a cavity search; I was dying from laughter!

Screenshot_24

It was an interesting dynamic to see them behind bars. Especially for Jim because he made Wyatt endure the same treatment last season.

Considering that the Haves will most likely be jail for the entire weekend, my guess is that the midseason finale will be when they are released after they get on the phone with one of their legal partners.

Around that time, the story of Jim teaming up with Veronica to cover up the hit-and-run charges will be released which will fan the flames of vengeance. This will lead to the second half of the season which will again lead to some deaths!

Screenshot_60

Candace pulling out the garbage bags from the counter under the sink had me rolling as well. at least she did not pull out a bag filled with 20 other Wal-Mart bags! Don’t lie, we all have those somewhere in our houses…

This is just my own speculation, but I would also love to get your theories in the comment section below.

I know this blog seemed harsher than my other theory blogs, but I really want the show to do well. I want it to get better and better with each season/episode.

Screenshot_32

Instead of adding more and more to the plot, I would like for old (or even forgotten) plot points to be revisited and resolved before adding more to the story.

Don’t worry, I will still watch the show, tweet and write these blogs. I just don’t want to ignore some flaws in the series by being a fan boy. Hoping that there are some surprises around the corner that not even I expected to keep my blood flowing!

Screenshot_66

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and The Have Nots Theory: 10 Things I Want To See In Season 4

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

I can’t believe that it is already 2016, and you know what that means! January 5th is only a couple of days away bringing with it a new season of the HAHN!

Readers have been asking whether or not I would write more blogs before the new episode. However, with a lack of Season 4 promo trailers revealing scenes from the new season, I did not have enough evidence of anything to put into an entire blog.

I figured that with a new year and a new season, I could write about old questions that have gone unanswered. Overall, this blog is going to be about different plots and topics that I would like to have covered in the upcoming season.

There have been a lot of plot twists, unresolved plot points and mentioned but unseen characters in the series. I am hoping that 2016 will bring us more answers to old questions instead of new questions but unresolved topics.

Keep in mind that this blog would be about as long as Webster’s Dictionary if I went over ALL of my thoughts. I will try to write about the topics that pop into my mind first, and the major questions that I feel we need answered sooner instead of never.

ep136-own-hhn-9-949x534

  1. Closure for Amanda

I know I have said it time and time again; Amanda’s death was NOT a suicide. I truly believe that there is more to it than that. You have read my blogs, Facebook posts and tweets on this subject. I do not like how things were “resolved” with her character.

Her funeral was all but an afterthought, and I was highly disappointed. I was thinking that at least 15-20 minutes of the episode would be about the funeral. However, we only see the family leaving the cemetery, and the real story occurred at the Cryer Mansion.

We never get the results of an autopsy because remember that she was said to have become pregnant after being raped by Professor Cannon. Not to mention that she got a death tattoo with the name of all of her family members on it (because she wanted to kill them) when she left the house with Quincy.

The police called the death a suicide, but we never saw the murder weapon! Where was her gun that she had while running around the house??????????????

I just hope that Tyler Perry has something written in the season for Amanda because I truly do not believe that it is over.

download

  1. Benny’s family realizes that there is something off about him

Just as so many other things in this series are mentioned to only be forgotten, I can say the same about Benny’s departure from the hospital. The doctor told Hanna that they could remove him off of life support in order to assist with speeding up his recover, but there would be some possible side effect. Hanna did not allow the doctor to mention what those effects were because she was interested in doing whatever she could to get her son back.

If I were to make an assumption, I think it is safe to say that some of those side effects would most likely be his personality. He was in a coma for nearly half of Season 2, and it is clear that he was a bit “off” after waking up. His personality was a bit like a child, his attitude and rage would rise at the drop of a dime, and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Things like his affair with Veronica makes sense if you take into consideration the possibly about her being on some type of drug or medication herself! Hanna should know by now that given his behavior that there is something wrong with her son!

It is almost as bad as when Jim was clearly obvious to Amanda’s personality defects, and that led to her death because he did not have her committed like Katheryn told him to.

In any case, I just hope we get to see Benny taken in for a checkup or something to identify what is happening to him.

Screenshot_27

  1. Veronica’s mother makes an appearance

During their attempts to run for the governor’s mansion, David was seen calling or receiving calls from Veronica mother. It is mentioned that Jim sued Veronica’s father, and that was why her mother hates him.

David even said that the reason he called her was to talk about the problems with his marriage. We never find out if she planned on coming to visit them or speak to her daughter. Given their current circumstances, I think that her presence is needed now more than ever.

Veronica needs to be put in her place considering everything that she has pulled at this point, and her mother should be the person to bring her down a few notches.

ep101-own-hhn-11-600x411

  1. Hanna and Candace resolve their issues

Alright, I do not think that EVERY issue between the two will be solved in one season because they have too much to fix! However, it is sad to see the two be driven further and further apart each season. It is almost as if each time they step closer to each other, we see the distance between them grow even larger than before.

Season 3 was truly the climax of Hanna’s character in terms of her motherhood to Candace. She asked for her forgiveness about the incident with her boyfriend molesting her as a child. I felt that Hanna did all that she could by saying that she loved Candace, and she did not want to her continue on the current path that she was traveling down.

Enter Quincy Jr., and how his introduction to the series really made things difficult for the Candace-Hanna relationship. Hanna was throwing shade about Candace to Aaliyah, and Candace was willing to fight back to get custody for her son.

Hanna really crossed the line by accusing Candace of destroying her house. If it were not for Candace, Hanna would have lost her house. Although, you have to remember that she only paid the $50,000 through blackmailing Jim for $100,000, but her heart was in the right place. Not saying that it condones what she did, but you can see where I am going with this.

I think that after Candace loses everything (pretty sure she did in the Season 3 finale), she will finally change her ways. In the next season, I hope that Candace starts learning from her mistakes instead of trying to be more cunning and deceitful than before. Hanna will start to notice a change in her daughter for the better, and I really want to see the Young family united instead of divided especially with little Q in their lives.

Screenshot_3

  1. David gets aggressive

David is my favorite character, and I do not think that opinion has changed since I made that statement back during Season 2. I respect that he loves his wife despite everything that she has done, but the guy is oblivious to many signs! Just as Jim was with Amanda and Hanna was with Benny; David is just letting the signs appear in front of his eyes, but he is ignoring them!

Yes, he was wrong for getting into bed with Maggie, but you cannot tell me that Veronica was not driving him into her arms the entire season!

She nearly cremated him (literally), and all he did was call it a cry for attention…

His relationship with Jeffrey has gotten a lot better than earlier seasons when Veronica came down hard on him, and David did not do much of anything. Finally, Jeffrey stands up for himself and David has his back. They both care about Veronica, and want to help her even though she does not know that she needs it herself.

I also respect how he is a true friend, but it is now clear that Jim has made him an enemy. David said during Season 2 that he is a good friend, but he is a better enemy.

He proved to be more effective than Jim in some respects because he does not let his emotions direct his actions or cloud his judgment. Seen as when he deceived Candace for nearly an entire season by hiring Brandon (Oscar) to get the money Candace extorted from Jim.

I must admit that I would also like to see him end up with Maggie because she appreciates him for the good man that he is instead of being controlling like Veronica. It appears that he and Jim will be sharing a jail cell, and I can’t wait to see what goes down.

  1. Katheryn learns the truth

Katheryn seems to have floated into the background for quite some time now. Don’t get me wrong after beating up Celine, I think it is safe to say we are seeing a new Mrs. Cryer! Then looking at how she interrogated Candace like a boss, I can’t wait to see she will do next.

I am glad to see that she is trying to move on with her life after Amanda’s death by getting back into an exercise routine, and just doing what she can to stay busy. However, there are major events that are just flying over her head.

That is not to say that she is not trying to stay informed because she keeps hounding Jim about things, but we all know how he is.

She has to learn that Wyatt was sexually assaulted in prison, and Veronica was the one to set it up! If I am not mistaken, she does not even know that Veronica burned down her own house to kill David. She found out about the “affair” he was having with Maggie, and was shocked with Jim tried to choke her.

Out of everything, I am most interested in finding out how she will react to finding out that Wyatt got sexually assaulted because Jim did not take him out of prison when she told him to. Throw into the mix the fact that Veronica was the one who did it, and we will see some fights next season!

  1. Did Norman ever get placed back in prison?

Jim put Wyatt in Norman’s place to teach him a lesson about prison. Remember that Norman was the one who took the fall for the hit-and-run charges, and he was staying in a hotel while being watched by the Malones. He said that he would like to see his wife, but Jim said that he would get to do so (eventually).

Wyatt was finally taken back home by Jim, but it was never mentioned if Norman was ever brought back to the prison.

I would not be surprised if he somehow escaped, and now Jim is in a bit of a bind. Considering that he is going to be locked up next season, he will already have enough trouble on his plate.

My theory is that Norman did get away, and when Jim needs (or needed if he had already put him back in jail) to put him back so nobody finds out about the switch (although Jennifer already knows); he will be in a bad position to cover his actions.

However, Jennifer told Wyatt over the phone that she knew about the switch because she has eyes and ears everywhere. We could possibly assume that he was put back in jail, but it is just one of those things that I wish we got to see. You know if Jim got on the phone after seeing Wyatt all pitiful and scared, and he calls the Malones to bring Norman back only to find out that he got away. Now that would have been a great plot twist!

  1. Will Tony ever get his kidney?

Seriously, is this man ever going to get the treatment that he needs or will he be a dying character this season? I am not sure how he plans on getting a kidney from Benny since he is out and about on the town. Benny knows that he is hiding something from him, and he wanted him off of life support for a reason.

I am not sure if Benny will willingly give his dad a kidney, but I am interested to see if Tony actually reveals the truth to his son. I really want to see how Benny would react to that question.

  1. Is Melissa really pregnant?

Considering how long she was in the bathroom with the pregnancy test, I just have a feeling that something is off about her carrying Jeffrey’s child. I do not know if she is playing Veronica in order to get her dad the treatment that he needs or what. She seems content (for the most part) in marrying Jeffrey, and is willing to do whatever it takes to help out her family.

However, I just think there is more to Melissa that we just don’t know…yet. I hope in the new season that more is revealed about her character in terms of her being more than just a puppet. I think there is more to her that meets the eye. The dynamic of her marrying a man that she knows is gay just to help her dad puzzles me for some reason. Again, I just hope that more is done with her character.

Jim-and-David

  1. David vs. Jim

It was foreshadowed when David said that he is a better enemy than a friend, and he has his own aspirations for the governor’s mansion thanks to Maggie. He has always played second fiddle to Jim like Luigi does to Mario.

Their friendship is over, and I am sure we all want to see who would win between the two. I am not just talking about a physical fight (I am sure that we will get one at some point), but I am referring to a battle of wits and cunning.

Jim planned on having Veronica killed, and David said that if anything happens to her that Jim will face an enemy like he has never seen.

I want to see just how far David will go when he is pushed because he is a quiet storm that has yet to be fully unleashed!
