Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Do You Feel Sorry for Candace?

By Jeremy Carden

With the Season 3 finale finally over, I have been asked about which blog will be posted first. There have been so many things going through my mind since Tuesday night, and I have not written a blog because it is difficult to know where to begin!

Screenshot_24

The most requested blog from my readers is on the subject about my feelings towards Candace. More specifically, I have been asked whether or not I felt sorry for what she went through in the finale.

Considering that 3 seasons have come and gone, I will mainly focus on Season 3 (with some evidence from the previous 2 seasons). There is just so much to cover, but I feel that most of her real character development came from Seasons 2 and 3.

I am referring to her being abducted by the Malones, seeking revenge on Jim and her behavior throughout the most recent season. As you can see, it is a blending of the second part of Season 2 and the majority of Season 3.

the-haves-and-have-nots-own-ratings

At the start of Season 2, Jeffrey warned Candace about messing around with the Cryers. It was during this time that Candace revealed a bit about her background. She told Jeffrey that she fears NOTHING, but he was quick to call her out for that. He mentioned that it was a scary thought to even process. A person who fears nothing has nothing that they care about or love. That was a truly defining moment, and it makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

Overall, I think it is safe to assume that Quincy Jr. and Benny are the two things that she will protect with everything that she has. This was what I originally thought until we saw that Candace’s fears Quincy more than she cares about anything.

Remember that Candace split the scene after learning that Quincy had been to the hospital. However, it was not mentioned that he attacked Aaliyah and took documents from her purse. We know that it had the location of Candace’s house, and that is why Quincy knew where she would be in the finale.

Instead of going in the room to see her son, Candace left the hospital in a hurry. It was plain to see that her fear of Quincy trumped everything else. I mean there were a few cops in the hospital after he came the first time. This was the final straw that broke the camel’s back, and that is why Hanna was given custody of Quincy Jr.

ep131-own-hhn-12-949x534

After her experience with the Malones, we know that Candace fears death. No matter how fearless she “pretends” to be in order to intimidate her enemies; Candace is not as invulnerable as she tries to be.

She was literally in tears while pleading for her life before one of the Malone boys pulled the trigger (right next to her head). I thought it would have been a major wakeup call for her, and that she would finally begin to see the error of her ways. Jeffrey’s words had come to pass about the Cryers being ruthless, and she lost everything when she returned to her apartment. Jim had removed Amanda’s things along with Candace’s possessions.

However, she went right to Warlock for a plan to exact revenge on Jim! This confirmed that she had learned nothing from her last encounter with Jim except for how to get back at him.

ep132-own-hhn-5-949x534

Her role in the later part of Season 2 was simply her on the run from Quincy until she had the right time to strike back at Jim. We caught glimpses of her fear of Quincy when Warlock told her that he was out of prison, and after she found out that Amanda was “dating” him.

Now we move into Season 3, and this is the part of Candace’s story arc that makes me feel a bit like “she got what she deserved” when I look at the things that happened to her towards the end of the season.

Fans are going on and on about how Candace didn’t deserve this, Candace didn’t deserve that and whatnot.

12072721_1261576870535095_112248355617356106_n

It is almost as if everyone has forgotten about her abducting Jim from his home, and had him in the “War Room” during the night before his press conference.

Think about ALL of the things that she did to him before finally letting him go:

  • She recorded the entire thing
  • He was sexually abusing and making him worship her
  • Strapped him to an electric chair
  • A horde of transsexuals came into the mix for photos
  • Numerous contracts giving her his car, a statement of him being insanely in love with her, etc.
  • Extorted $7.4 million from his bank account

screenshot_6

Overall, Candace broke Jim’s spirit! It was bad enough that he received a beating from Quincy the night before, and now Candy Cane broke him down even further!

That bus pass and his experience in the ghetto was something that I am sure he will never forget. The icing on the cake was finding out his daughter had killed herself the night that he was kidnapped.

ep134-own-hhn-8-949x534

However, it is worthy of note that if Jim was not kidnapped; Amanda was going to shot him because he was “Moe.”

Back to Candace, she now has millions in her bank account. What is she going to do now?

HHN_C2_Wyatts-Nightmare_018

Towards the halfway point of Season 2, she told Jeffrey that she was moving down to Atlanta to start over (it was mentioned that Quincy’s mother had moved down to Atlanta; keep that in mind for potential plot material in Season 4).

War told her that with some money in her pockets and Quincy out looking for her; Candace’s best move would be to split town.

Instead of listening to the wise thug’s advice, she decided to stay in town. Her reasoning was to live it up in Jim’s face. We all know that the best revenge is rubbing success in another person’s face right?

Too bad that led to her getting knocked down flat on her face on multiple occasions in Season 3…

Screenshot_9

After acquiring her ill-gotten funds, it appeared that Candace did not have any plans about getting involved with another man for quite some time. That was until Oscar entered the picture, and even Candace was quick to call him out for not being who he appeared to be.

Eventually, she allowed him into her life by giving her advice on auctions. This eventually led to the two getting into bed until Hanna knocked on her hotel door looking for Benny.

She then cuddled with Oscar the entire night, and then went to Hanna’s house the next morning.

Screenshot_33

Similar to her being abducted by the Malones, I was under the impression that Candace would tone down her ways after learning that her son was still alive. She was originally under the impression that Quincy Jr. was killed by Quincy.

Sadly, this was not true at all…

The morning of Amanda’s funeral, Candace went to Hanna’s house and was informed that her son WAS still alive!

Screenshot_25

Hanna said it best by telling Candace that instead of going to Amanda’s funeral (where she had no business going in the first place); she should be using her “resources” to find out where her son was! I will get into this point later because it speaks so much truth.

Maggie, David and Jeffrey said that with Amanda dead and the Cryer family in mourning; Candace had no reason to go to see Jim!

According to Candace, she just wanted to “pay her condolences.” That was basically her poking the dog with a stick as David put it. Now Candace has done some lowdown things throughout the series, but this was just too much if you ask me.

ep108-own-hhn-3-600x411

The man who you extorted money from and humiliated had just lost his daughter! Not to mention she was indirectly responsible for her suicide by using her as a pawn to get at Jim.

Honestly, this is another argument in itself because of the “he said/she said” debate regarding Professor Cannon. You know the scenario of what would have happened if Candace did not persuade Amanda to try and “seduce” Cannon into giving her a makeup exam in the first place; would she have gotten raped?

Screenshot_26

It truly was a disgusting sight when she was throwing herself in front of Jim and Katheryn. Jeffrey, Wyatt and Hanna were trying to get her away from the Cryers. Even David and Veronica were trying to get her to leave the cemetery because she had no business there to begin with.

Finally, Katheryn invited her to the mansion. Hanna and Jeffrey told her to NOT enter that front door…

We all know it led to her being knocked out cold with that bottle, which she deserved!

Screenshot_11

She actually told the truth for once (well a half truth) about Amanda killing herself most likely as a result of being raped. However, she made it seem as if it was Jim’s fault by saying that Amanda was not doing anything that anyone else was doing in order to pass. That made it seem like Jim told Amanda that while she was in the hospital after trying to take her own life through a pill overdose.

It was actually her being raped by Cannon, and THEN taking those pills that made Amanda go into the hospital! Candace was flipping the script to make Jim feel guilt for the situation!

Screenshot_17

From there, Candace got closer and closer to Oscar. Another thing that made me want Hanna to gain custody of Quincy Jr. came in the form of Candace going to New York with Oscar.

Why is that a bad thing?

She KNEW her son (who she thought was dead for the past 3 years) was alive, and traveled from Georgia to New York instead of looking for him!!! Say what you want about Hanna being a fake Christian or a hypocrite, but down at the core that woman loves and cares for that little boy more than his own mother does!

hannah-qunicy-hahn

Hanna took care of him for the first couple of years of his life (2 or 3 years), but Candace came and took him back. This led to him being “killed” by Quincy (really in Quita’s “care” for 3 years while Quincy was in jail).

For Candace to have the nerve to try and get custody was something else. Yes, I know that she is his mother. It actually appeared that she was going to take care of him A LOT better than she did after taking him away from Candace all of those years ago. She had a nice house, money and was on route to become a lawyer.

12011162_10153592432058119_8676135903021593258_n

However, we all know that those things were achieved through extortion, greed and cheating. None of those things were acquired the through hard work and honesty.

Hanna said it best when she told Candace that she could provide Quincy Jr. with a stable home and love because he was the apple of her eye. The only danger that I saw with him staying with Hanna was that Quincy would be looking around for him at her house. This turned out to be correct after he drove a car through it!

Candace has far too many enemies, and the fact that her house was bought under such false pretenses means that it would eventually fall (her money is gone so she can’t afford to keep it!).

Screenshot_11

Again, I do not doubt that Candace loves Quincy Jr. but she is more in love with her dangerous way of living and a fear of Quincy that trumps even her own son!

Finally, I can get into the finale itself! I have wanted to write on this for awhile. Hanna and Benny confronted Candace about her quick rise to the “Have” status.

10984560_10204611420592080_2284267171508690971_n

In the near future, I will write a blog about Hanna’s character throughout Season 3. For now, I will say that she did come down a bit too hard on Candace. She did not give her the benefit of the doubt, but has Candace actually given Hanna any proof of doing something for someone other than herself?

The proof is in the pudding, and Candace has never been seen stirring a bowl…

Hanna was a bit quick to blame Candace for destroying her house. I will admit that was a bit harsh, and even Benny called her out for it.

For once, Candace WAS telling the truth to Hanna and Benny. However, she was only revealing what she wanted to. I mean she told them about the amount of money she acquired. Not to mention the cars, houses and tow company were legit.

They were paid for in a legit fashion, but the way that she got the $7 million was not!

11048789_10204621639727552_6634014334107443968_n

Benny eventually sided with his mother after finding out that Candace lied to him about where she worked. I have an older sister, and I know when it comes to siblings there is a relationship. It is one thing to lie and hide things from our parents. However, when one of us lies to the other about something; it is a problem! It makes sense why Benny felt betrayed after everything they had been through together.

He went behind Hanna’s back to foreclose on the house to pay for Candace’s hospital bills after being beaten nearly to death by Quincy. Then he lied to Hanna about how he got the house/tow company, and that was out of character for him.

Now for Candace to lie to him about her job and how she bought all of these new things really pierced him through the heart!

Within the first 10 minutes of the episode, Candace lost her connection to her family. Then it was discovered that one of the few men that she has trusted in her life had now betrayed her by taking her money (Oscar).

12036631_10205157864852845_7075788191364366444_n

After finding out that Oscar was a fraud, she attempted to murder him. He then tackled her to the couch, and just as it appeared that she had been rescued by an unknown friend; it turned out to be Quincy.

I guess that if anyone was going to beat on Candace, Quincy was going to be the only one to do it!

For what seemed to be 20 minutes of a merciless beating, Jeffrey came into the house and carved Quincy’s back like a Thanksgiving turkey! That was where Season 3 came to an end, and a pool of blood was expanding on Candace’s floor.

Alright, now the question remains about how I feel regarding Candace’s fall in the season finale.

Do I feel sorry for Candace?

Yes…and no…

I am not saying that as a copout answer, but I do feel like a seesaw when thinking about the question.

Screenshot_41

Overall, I am not a person who goes “HA, YOU GOT WHAT YOU DESERVE!” (Most of the time…) However, Hanna said what goes around comes around. Candace has been on the top for this entire season, and it was good to see her knocked from her high horse (literally).

Screenshot_29

The same can be said about Veronica, but I think her comeuppance will come soon or later. We got a taste of this during Maggie’s visit to her house in the episode before the finale.

I was ok with her losing the money because it was not hers to begin with, but I still cannot see why Oscar willingly went back to Candace’s house after taking the money. I know his career is about reclaiming assets for the people he is hired by, but I am assuming he has never dealt with a “mad black woman” before. If he had, I am sure that he would have known better than to go to her house!

Screenshot_6

Another blog I will do soon is going to be on my thoughts about Oscar being revealed to be a false persona. Don’t worry if you feel that I did not discuss it a lot in this post, but I will get to it soon enough.

I was a bit saddened to see her heart crushed because Oscar was probably the first man that she had ever felt something for instead of conned. However, she was broken just as Jim was earlier in the season.

Candace’s beating was frightening to see, but I think the worst part was seeing the fear in her eyes. I mean her family walked out on her, all of her money was gone, the man she began to fall for turned out to be a fake and unknown to her was Hanna getting custody of Quincy Jr.

However, I feel that none of that compared to Candace’s fear of Quincy becoming a reality when he stepped out of the shadows.

11988408_1259347714091344_8947682856119250085_n

The way that she attempted to flee, but was thrown down to the floor was heart wrenching to watch. Sure she was getting beaten, but hearing her cries for Quincy to stop made me cringe.

It truly was a horrifying thing to witness! Again, she did have a lot to answer for, but even I couldn’t take watching it finally happen.

You could just see the fear in her eyes as Quincy wrapped his hands around her throat…

11178188_1259532994072816_4304584695600378353_n

Now that Quincy has died (still not sure if he is really dead), she now has to find a way to dispose of the body and deal with Jim (because she thinks he is responsible for Oscar). Season 4 will open up with Candace having to deal with far more problems than solutions.

With all of that being said, I do not feel sorry for Candace in the sense that she got what was coming to her; the money being returned to its rightful owner, her family learning the truth behind her lies, etc.

I did feel sorry for her nearly being beaten to death because that is something no one deserves to go through. Especially when a man is putting his hands on a woman!

12039176_852045614891056_7678163664381958652_n

Then seeing someone that she finally opened up to turning out to be a façade was a tough pill to swallow as well…

Candace lost pretty much everything except for her life in this finale.

10429292_10203512756166156_8433209555738058773_n

When you think about it, Candace went through almost the same thing that Jim did. Remember in the Season 2 finale, Celine was told off by Jim when all she wanted was for him to be a father to Carlos. Jim wrote her off as someone who just wanted money, and he did not want to have anything to do with her or his son(s). This was right after he covered up Wyatt’s hit-and-run charges with Norman, and he then lied to Amanda’s face about his affair with Candace.

Sad to say that was the last time that he ever saw his daughter alive, and for him to have lied to her…Jim truly regretted that decision…

That was when everything started to fall apart for him in the finale. Like Candace, he was beaten down by Quincy. His lies were starting to come into the light in front of his family, and his life began to crumble as well. Like how he lost his daughter, most of “his” money (really Katheryn’s) and his political career.

The-Haves-and-the-Have-Nots-Season-1-Episode-20-Unanswered-Calls

Candace “lost” her son to Hanna, “her” money is gone and her law career is in shambles thanks to her never getting another letter from Professor Cannon (before he got killed) allowing her to skip to the bar exam.

Screenshot_33

Veronica is coming out as one of the front runners of the show in terms of “the one character you love to hate.” However, the main plot of the series is still revolving around Jim and Candace.

Deep down, I believe that no one is above redemption. Candace still has the chance to see the errors of her ways, and start living a life pleasing to God. That is what Hanna told Benny, and why she did not believe that she had a real job.

She said it best by telling Benny that when a person truly has a godly experience and breakthrough; you will see a true change in them and how they are living their life. Candace has yet to see the light as Hanna did in the past. This is why Hanna does not trust Candace, but I will get into that subject in another blog.

11880626_10204917851572663_1569380142509859390_n

I do believe she can become a good mother and person, but she has to realize that her current way of living is not good for anyone; especially herself!

I am very interested in seeing where things will go for Candace in Season 4. Needless to say, I think the same can be said for everyone of us!

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Will Jennifer Give Wyatt Immunity?

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

We’ve all heard of children lashing out against their parents, and wanting them to pay for any punishment that they have dealt out.

Screenshot_36

However, Wyatt is the problem child of the series (not that he is the only one) when it comes to him wanting his parents to pay. Sure, Jeffrey has PLENTY of reasons to turn against his parents like Wyatt or Candace. However, he has a good heart even when his mother is insanely overbearing.

Screenshot_15

Recently, Jennifer (the D.A.) has presented Wyatt with a deal; blow the whistle on his parents for placing him in jail, and he will not get ANY jail time!

Wyatt was skeptical at first, but it seems like he will give in! He had better get that agreement in writing!

Screenshot_46

Jeffrey will take Wyatt to Benny’s towing company, and he discovers the black sedan has been there all along. This was the key piece of evidence that Veronica was trying to have destroyed since Season 2, and Jennifer’s boss told her that she would need the car prior to pursuing the Cryer/Harrington families again.

12049586_10205128023386827_7406724081878125226_n

In the preview for the finale, we see Wyatt sitting in Jennifer’s office. We can possibly assume that Jeffery shows Wyatt where the car is. Afterwards, he goes to Jennifer’s office with the information and evidence that she needs.

Even though the finale might end with Jim calling for all 3 killers to pursue their targets (Veronica/Professor Cannon/Terrell), Jennifer might come after them with warrants for their arrest since Wyatt provided her with the information that she needed!

The question is whether or not Jennifer will really keep her end of the bargain and allow Wyatt to walk away without so much as a slap on the wrist.

ep127-own-hhn-5-949x534

It has been difficult to pinpoint what her intentions truly are. Does she want justice for Benny and Little Lizzie? Does she want to stick one to Jim and David more than anything else?

Honestly, I think that she wants both, but getting back at David and Jim means more to her.

Screenshot_32

Wyatt is the weak link in the Cryer family, and Jennifer knows it. I am not saying that she is not a woman who keeps her word, but it does strike me as strange that she would let a killer walk away…

Let’s take a look at past situations when Wyatt thought that he was getting revenge on someone that had done him wrong, and how that actually played out for him in the end:

  • Wyatt plans on revealing Jeffrey’s homosexuality to David and Veronica

Jeffrey pops Wyatt in the back of the head with a golf club, and he storms off in a rage to a crack house. This results in him getting high and getting into the hit-and-run to begin with…

ep111-own-hhn-9-365x240

  • Wyatt tells Candace that Amanda is Jim’s weak spot

After Wyatt accusing Candace of sleeping with his father, Jim confronted Wyatt in his office. He belittled his son (while lying to his son about the affair), and his words did more damage to Wyatt than any amount of drugs or alcohol.

Angered by the experience, Wyatt told Candace that bringing up the apple of his father’s eye (Amanda) would get him very worked up. The end result was Amanda moving in with Candace, and that indirectly ended up in her suicide.

  • Wyatt confesses to the D.A.

He tried to destroy his parents and the Harringtons for covering up the hit-and-run charges. This blew up in his face when he discovered that his parents could have cared less!

Screenshot_30

  • Wyatt runs his mouth

Calling Jim out of his name for many episodes and saying that he wasn’t there for Amanda landed him with an ass-whopping and thrown into “prison.”

Screenshot_6

  • Wyatt tells off Veronica

Nothing to say here except for Wyatt getting raped by Toxic…

Screenshot_34

As you can see, anytime that Wyatt thinks that he has gotten the better of someone; he ends up getting hurt as a result!

Perhaps Jennifer DOES let Wyatt off the hook; I still think that in some way he will pay for telling on them. Keep in mind that he did not find out about Veronica being the one to place Toxic into his jail cell until Jennifer told him about it!

Screenshot_14

Do you think that Jennifer will let Wyatt go free, or will he be taken down along with his family and the Harringtons?

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Will Celine Kill Jim?

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

Last week proved to be an episode where hidden lies have finally crept out of the darkness!

Jim showed that he really is someone who pursues revenge like no one else! I mean Veronica and Candace are other contenders for the coldest character in the series (especially since Veronica is the Ice Queen), but Jim…

It is one thing to get even with someone, but to humiliate them by crushing their emotions is just on another level!

Screenshot_20

True, Celine did embarrass Jim in front of the entire country on national television during his announcement that he was running for governor. However, Jim tore her heart to pieces!

At first glance, it would seem that Celine did Jim worse than he did her. From my perspective, I think it was the other way around.

haves and have nots 49

Remember that Jim never really wanted to run for governor to begin with. During Season 1, he told Candace and David that he was willing to just walk away from everything because it was just too much. Whether or not it was him being fed up with playing the façade that he had been living ever since he married Katheryn, or if he had hit a midlife crisis when he turned 50; Jim never really had the goal of being governor. If anything, it was something that was just forced upon him by other people’s expectations of him.

Screenshot_36

David wanted to run more than Jim, and the only reason he did not run was because the current governor told him that Georgia was not ready for an African American governor (in not so many words).

Even Katheryn says that it was a relief that Jim was not running because she did not want to go through all of the things to come with living in the governor’s mansion.

With that being said, Celine crushed Jim’s “dream” of running for governor and it led to him being publicly humiliated. However, you have to once again remember that it had been a few weeks that he was actually planning on running for governor.

Screenshot_41

Here is why I think that Jim hurt and embarrassed her even more than she did to him; Jim destroyed the heart of someone that had been pinning for him for just about 28 years!

Remember that their affair lasted practically as long as Jim had been married to Katheryn! After being dragged out of Katheryn’s house, left taking care of 2 kids by herself (with $270,000 a year from Jim) and being a maid of all jobs for the man who “fathered” her children; Celine was destroyed last week!

Screenshot_40

Jim comes over to her apartment and after all of the attempts of seducing him throughout Seasons 1 and 2 to have sex with her! After saying that he loved her and whatnot, he revealed that he NEVER loved her, he was never coming back and Celine was only going to receive a small amount of child support for that “little bastard!”

I must admit that it was a low blow to call his youngest son by Celine a little bastard because that IS his son whether he likes it or not!

It was Jim’s way of “getting even” with Celine for what she did to him on television, but Jim got the better of her (in my opinion).

April-1

His rejection and belittling of her was just the wake-up call that Celine needed after throwing herself at Jim for nearly 30 years! Almost 3 decades of thinking a man was in love with her was destroyed in less than 30 seconds!

She screams that the two of them are not even, and that has led some fans to believe that the man who ordered the bloodbath would be the one to be drowning in one himself…

Tragic-1

The question now is whether or not Jim will be the one who is killed! Celine knows where his campaign office is, and of course knows where he lives.

Wouldn’t it be ironic if Jim is killed at his home like he was originally intended to?

What do I mean by that?

Screenshot_15

Remember when Amanda was playing her deadly game of Eenie, Meenie, Miny, Moe? Here was the breakdown of her game:

Eenie = Wyatt

Meenie = Katheryn

Miny = Amanda/unborn child

Moe = Jim

Screenshot_30

If Candace did not have Warlock’s crew kidnap Jim, he was most likely going to die that night by Amanda!

That is why I would find it ironic if Jim does get killed by Celine in his home because he avoided a bullet at the end of Season 2. However, I am not sure if the same can be said about the finale of Season 3…

Tyler Perry has set the stage for David vs. Jim to occur in Season 4, and that is if Veronica is harmed in anyway because David will instantly think Jim was the cause.

Screenshot_52

With that being said, I would not surprise me if Jim is not killed. However, I am curious as to how Celine plans to get even with Jim if she doesn’t kill him.

Jim told Katheryn that Celine had already fired her biggest bullet (that she had 2 sons by Jim), but she has been their maid for over 20 years. That means she has a lot of dirt on the Cryers, and she is not afraid to use it.

Screenshot_43

Who do you think got the better of the other; Celine or Jim? Will Celine kill Jim? How will she get even with him?

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Maggie Is the Killer!

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

The season finale is coming soon! Tuesday will be here before you know it, and fans have been pulling out their hair because of their anticipation!

Who will die? Who will live? What lies will be brought to the surface? Whose chicken will come home to roost?

Screenshot_28

Now the title of this blog might have you thinking that I have Maggie Day pegged as the killer during the season finale. I suppose you could say that, or you should realize that she has already “killed” someone!

Who am I referring to?

Screenshot_29

It all occurred during last week’s episode, and her encounter with the Ice Queen herself!

The clip above was my FAVORITE part of last week’s episode!

io;iop

Maggie revealed to Veronica that she knows about her affair with 23-year-old Benny Young, but has not blown the whistle on her to David.

When Veronica asks why Maggie has not snitched to David, she tells her that it has to do with timing. From there, Maggie reveals her plan to have David run for governor.

Screenshot_27

Veronica scoffs at the idea because she thinks that Maggie has her own hidden agenda. Maggie brought up the fact that Veronica would not shy away from being the First Lady, but Veronica is quick to call her potential bluff.

I mean when you look at things from Veronica’s perspective (I can’t believe that I just said that), you would also be suspicious of Maggie’s intentions. Sure, Maggie was 100% honest with Veronica about how she feels about David. I will give her the credit she deserves, but she was still chasing after a man who is married!

The fact that Maggie said that she did not reveal Veronica’s affair to David because of timing has me thinking that she has a hidden agenda. She could be trying to get David in the governor’s mansion, and wait for Veronica to blow the marriage (which she has already done) before making her move.

Screenshot_35

Like it or not, Maggie is potentially the most dangerous and cunning character on the show in her own way. It has never been revealed if her persuading Veronica to bail out Quincy from prison was a “double agenda.” We know that her intention was getting Q out in order to get Candace under control to stop her from ruining Jim’s campaign. However, she might have anticipated a man that has been in prison for 3 years would be instantly attracted to the first woman that he laid eyes on after all of that time; Veronica was most likely the first woman her has seen in 3 years!

screenshot_18

That could be why he was so persistent with having sex with her on multiple occasions! I don’t know…Maggie might have planned that out. Aside from having Q being a dog off the lease, she could also use that as ammo against Veronica if she blows the whistle to David about it!

So at this point, Maggie knows about Veronica’s affair with Benny AND has the proof of Veronica bailing Q out of jail! Veronica told David that she did that at the Sarandon Hotel, and caused an even bigger rift in their marriage.

the_haves_and_the_have_nots_s01e23_mp41879

Veronica is basically doing Maggie’s dirty work for her, and she is running her own marriage as a result. This is EXACTLY what Maggie has been trying to do all along!

David told Veronica that the breaking point of their marriage would be if she has been screwing around behind his back, and that was right before she handed him the divorce papers.

Maggie has the final bullet needed to kill the Ice Queen, but has yet to pull the trigger…

You are probably wondering who she “killed” last week, and I will tell you the person that she killed.

Screenshot_30

Did you notice the two masks that were hanging on the wall near the front door of Veronica’s new house?

As she was leaving, Maggie said that she loved the décor of Veronica’s new house. What made this scene even more perfect that it already was involved Maggie bringing up something that was mentioned during her first meeting with Veronica.

Do you recall the first encounter of Maggie, Veronica and Katheryn? It was during the early episodes of Season 2 after she agreed to be Jim and David’s campaign manager. Maggie had a brief meeting with their wives to introduce them to her strategy for the campaign.

Screenshot_33

Never one to beat around the bush, Maggie noted that Veronica’s wardrobe and fashion sense was too flashy. After she left, it was clear that she did not make friends with Veronica and Katheryn.

When she was leaving Veronica’s house, she mentioned that the décor was nice without being too flashy. Veronica then threw the folder containing the photos of her and Benny at Maggie. It did not hit her intended target, but it knocked down one of the masks on the wall.

After Maggie closed the door, Veronica fell to the floor in tears and frustration. If you ask me, the mask hitting the ground was almost a form of symbolism.

11026595_10204874368485613_6997965045096577265_n (1)

The two masks could represent different things about Veronica’s personality:

  • One mask represented the facade Veronica had regarding her marriage
  • One mask represented the facade of Jeffrey NOT being gay

Maggie’s speech to Veronica about how David loved her and did not have an affair “killed” one of Veronica’s personalities.

Screenshot_43

The persona or “mask” that wanted revenge against David for cheating on her!

Yes, Maggie Day “murdered” someone in last week’s episode!

Now the mask falling on the floor (with Veronica doing the same) reminds me of the expression about picking your face up off of the ground.

Screenshot_39

In the finale, it appears that Veronica is going to try correct two of her mistakes:

  • She tries to cut ties with Benny by ending their affair, but it does not look like he wants that to happen
  • She goes to David’s office and tells him to take the opportunity by running for governor

Screenshot_37

She is even seen on stage beside David as Jim is about to give his speech about dropping out of the race for office, but it is unknown whether or not he will bow out or continue to run.

What has me curious is if Jim does decide to quit the race, will David walk to the podium and reveal that HE is running?

Screenshot_36

He did not want to run without consulting his “friend” Jim, but for him to be pushed in that direction by his wife…this finale is going to be interesting to say the least.

It is still unknown if the impact of Veronica learning the truth about her husband’s affair will cause her to think twice about how she has treated Jeffrey (the second mask on the wall), but I could see her potentially being killed in the finale.

CN6OvcoWgAA932g

Aside from the hit that Jim put out on her (as well as Cannon and Terrell), it would not surprise me if the Ice Queen gets killed just as she is trying to make things right in her life. After all of the harm she has caused, Veronica has a lot to answer for.

Screenshot_7

I know my whole theory on the masks being symbolism for Veronica’s personality might be a result of me reading too much into this, but I’m a HAHN addict (this is what I do)! If the masks were actually written into scene for symbolism, I give applause to whoever put that in there!

Screenshot_1

Also, I am a sucker for continuity, and Maggie Day delivered by referencing what she first told Veronica about her flashy personality! If I am not mistaken, I read somewhere that Maggie was not even supposed to be in the series for this long. However, that changed and she has become a major player at the HAHN table if you ask me.

6a00d834515c2369e201901b7bc445970b

Somehow, the Grinch’s heart also grew three sizes that day, but is it enough for Veronica to make peace with her family?

Screenshot_34

Will David and Jeffrey forgive her? Will Veronica call off the wedding that she posted about in the newspaper? Is Maggie trying to take the position as First Lady for herself? Will Veronica die in the finale?

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Who Will Die?

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

I haven’t written a theory on a subject like this since we found out that someone would die at the end of Season 2. Amanda Cryer was the victim during that season, and now fans are speculating who will be the victim at the end of Season 3.

At this point, I can honestly say that I do not know WHO will be the one to die in the season finale. There are just so many potentially characters who could get the ax from the series that I cannot even think straight!

What I will do in this blog is simply go over every character that I think will be a candidate for death and why. Perhaps in next week’s episode, we will get more hints as to which character will be the one to die.

All we have is the preview of next week’s episode in the clip above, and I must say that it has me pointing in different directions. There is just no clear victim, but I will start off with the 3 that has fans talking the most.

CN6OvcoWgAA932g

Jim’s call to Mama Rose and her boys from the Malone gang was to order a bloodbath. The 3 people that he named were Terrell, Professor Cannon and Veronica.

  • Terrell was the police office that allowed the rapist “Toxic” to come into Wyatt’s prison cell to sexually assault him
  • Professor Cannon was the man who raped Amanda, and was arguably responsible for her committing suicide
  • Veronica was the one who paid Terrell to have Toxic placed into Wyatt’s cell in order to give him a true taste of prison life

When the Malones are given a murder request, they do NOT play around! Considering how disappointed Mama Rose was when Jim said not to kill Candace, she has a trigger finger itching to be used.

These are 3 of the most likely characters to be killed off by the end of this season. However, there are more than just these 3 to speculate about, and I will go through them one-by-one.

12004097_10205063864782902_5006379348274761419_n

Celine

Her reason for dying is simply because she revealed that Jim has 2 sons by her, but if anything happens to her, I am sure that everyone will point the finger at Jim for what she did to him on live television.

Jim has even said that even though Celine has a lot of bullets to fire (the fact that she had worked for the Cryers 28 years, she knows EVERYTHING there is to know about them. Basically, Celine has all of the dirty laundry to hang out and dry for everyone to see…if she wanted to), she has fired the biggest one being about his children outside of his marriage to Katheryn.

Screenshot_16

We see in the new episode that Jim goes over to her apartment and pulls “a Wyatt” by trying to seduce her.

hqdefault

Kind of awkward when you think about it because Wyatt had Celine in the same position back at the beginning of this season…

He says that he is over at her apartment for revenge, but I wonder what exactly he has in mind. Maggie told him to put his sexual energy into his campaign, but it looks like he is attempting to put it on Celine instead!

Despite the fact that Celine is no longer in the title opening, I don’t think that automatically means she dies. I mean they did that with Amanda AFTER it was revealed that she was dead. Look at Maggie, she is playing a much bigger role than Celine, but she was never in the opening. Now if Celine does die, Tyler was pretty much showing us her demise episodes in advance! However, I don’t think that is the case this time around.

Screenshot_4

Wyatt

At first, I thought he would commit suicide after what he went through in prison. However, it seems he has a bigger plot coming up involving getting back at his parents for leaving him in jail.

Screenshot_10

Katheryn

Doubt she dies, but I am going over everyone who could be killed off. I do not think that Katheryn will die because she has been more of a spectator in these past few episodes.

I will say that since Hanna’s house is on fire, the video will she took of Katheryn before she went into surgery back in Season 1 is my main concern. Was that video still in the house, or did Benny have the purse holding the video moved into his new house?

Besides, I think that Katheryn will end up buying Hanna a new house anyway. Which is ironic since the house Candace bought for Benny (with the money extorted from the Cryers) is where he wants Hanna to live anyway.

Screenshot_5

Benny

Given his 10 minute speech to Hanna at the hospital about how he is a man now, and he will handle Q; I think he will either get killed or “lose” if and when Q comes back.

Low and behold, Hanna’s home is now destroyed because Benny bailed him out of prison, but did not get the job done.

Quincy will get the upper hand because he is going for blood now (not sure if he knew Hanna’s house was empty when he drove right through it), and I don’t think he will let Benny beat him up three times in a row.

I do not think Benny will die just yet because he has a tow company and a house now thanks for Candace’s ill-gotten gains. Benny is now slowly beginning to see that his baby sister is not as legit as she said she is. With that being said, I think he might make it to see Season 4.

image_191

Quincy

Q dying is most likely a result of his recent actions. Benny looks PISSED after figuring out that Q was the one to destroy his mother’s house.

Candace will find out that Q had come to the hospital and taken papers from Aaliyah’s purse. My guess is that paper had Candace’s information on it. From there, Candace will figure out that Q now knows where she lives.

I think that either Benny or Candace will call on Warlock to finish Q off for good this time! He knows too much, and has done far more than enough to end his life.

Screenshot_8

Jeffrey

I doubt that he dies because Veronica “needs” him alive to finish her plot with her grandchild and Jeffery’s marriage to Melissa.

Quincy said he would kill him, but he is too busy with his son and getting revenge on the Youngs to worry about him (at least for now).

screenshot_54 (1)

Melissa

In my opinion, she dies is Quincy comes to her apartment thinking that Jeffery is still living there.

Screenshot_6

Oscar

The only way that I can see him dying is if Quincy finds out that Oscar has been messing around with his woman. However, I doubt that is going to happen anytime soon. Everyone knows that I do not trust Oscar, and the only thing “dying” about him is his “relationship” with Candace.

I still say that he is going to take ALL of her money, and leave her with nothing! His trip to New York and Paris will most likely be his “going away” trip from Candace.

Screenshot_9

Jim

I doubt he is going anywhere anytime soon because he has now thrown the first punch (well choke/strangle) in his battle with David that is creeping over the horizon. I think it is safe to say that Season 4 will have these 2 going at it.

11988303_755204404605755_504206392307119720_n

Jim even posted the above picture on social media from filming new episodes of HAHN for the new season.

It begs the question as to what exactly is going to happen especially given the fact that his facial hair has grown out. This could mean that Jim is going to be in a place that he cannot keep up his regular appearance.

Since he has facial hair and bruises, we can assume that he is going to be somewhere for an extended amount of time. Someplace where fights occur on the regular, a place like…PRISON?!?!?

Screenshot_13

The only way that he could be sent to prison is if Jennifer gets the evidence needed (Jeffrey’s car) to place the Cryers and Harringtons behind bars for covering up the hit-and-run charges.

This seems very likely because of a few facts:

  1. Jeffrey somehow discovers his car at Benny’s Towing
  2. Jennifer’s boss told her not to go after the Cryers/Harringtons again unless she has the car
  3. She is on the phone with Wyatt saying that she knows about the Norman-Wyatt prison switch, and wanted to know if Wyatt would like to get back at his dad for what he did to him

Screenshot_15

Wyatt’s vengeance is placed on the wrong person because even though Jim had him in jail, he did so in a “protective environment.” At least until Veronica played her cards and that led to him getting sexually assaulted.

Jeffrey knows what happened to Wyatt while he was in the jail, and would be willing to help out his friend by getting back at his parents for letting that happen. Meaning that Jeffrey will tell Wyatt about the car, and Wyatt would tell Jennifer. This will lead to her having the ammo needed to arrest Jim, Katheryn, David and Veronica!

Screenshot_14

Considering the finale is coming, I think that it has to end with a bang! With the death of one of the characters, or Jennifer finally getting what she needs to take out Jim and David!

Or the picture could simply mean that the makeup team applied bruises and whatnot to Jim’s face before shaving him, but I would not know because I do not know much about makeup…

This just goes to show that I take this show and these theories very seriously!

Screenshot_3

David

Just as I said about Jim, since these two good friends are not friends anymore; he won’t die (at least not anytime soon). He and Jim throwing down next season (if anything happens to Veronica that is) will be the main event! I doubt Tyler Perry would kill off the man who is running for governor, or at least not just yet.

Screenshot_1

Maggie

In the preview for next week, Maggie is seen coming over to Veronica’s new house. My guess is that she comes over to try and create some form of peace between them for the sake of the campaign.

Remember that Veronica and David appeared to be a loving couple at the first live campaign announcement. If Maggie is trying to get David to the governor’s mansion, he has to have the illusion of a healthy marriage and family.

11026595_10204874368485613_6997965045096577265_n (1)

However, this is far from the truth considering Veronica has already handed him divorce papers, attempted to kill him and is currently in the middle of an affair with Benny.

His son is not the straight man standing by Melissa like he was on stage, and there is no telling how that “wedding” announcement is actually going to play out.

Screenshot_54

Veronica does tell Maggie that there are no victims around, and Maggie was puzzled by that statement. In any case, Maggie saying that she wants David to run for governor could be the thing that “saves her life.”

Screenshot_7

This face that Veronica makes in the preview for next week has me confused. Is she laughing or crying? What is the cause of that face?

I am interested in finding out that is for sure. Given the fact that Veronica is the “new Amanda” so to speak, this look she gives Maggie has me fearful for her life. If Maggie going to Veronica’s house is the cliffhanger ending of the episode, I do have a feeling we might not see her in Season 4…

Tony-step-up-500

Tony

Seriously, how long is this man going to walk around before that kidney failure puts him out to pasture? If Benny does die (which I have my doubts about), I figure that Tony will appear out of nowhere wanting his organs in order to save his life. What would result in Tony’s demise is if Benny is NOT a compatible organ donor, and all of his ruthlessness will have been in vain.

Overall, there are nearly a dozen people who are candidates for dying at the end of Season 3.

I omitted Candace because I think she has to lose what she has before dying. She has way too much to answer for before being killed off quickly (similar to Veronica). Hanna has too much of a role in the story to be removed from it as well.

Screenshot_2

Honestly, it does seem clear that Maggie is the “What the hell are you doing here?” guest at Veronica’s door when she answers it. However, who is to say that Quincy is not the person to knock on her door?

Medina-Islam-Have-Have-Nots

Q hitting her could be the reason for the face she makes in the above photo, but he has never knocked before entering into her house before. Why start now?

Screenshot_4

Perhaps “Toxic” gets out of prison somehow, and he wants revenge for Veronica not putting the money on his books after sexually assaulting Wyatt like she asked him to do.

Dragon Ball Z: How Did Pikkon Die?

By Jeremy Carden

I love how characters can be introduced into a series for a handful of episodes, but easily become fan favorites because of the impact that they had on the series. Some characters have great back stories, are extremely powerful or have a mysterious factor to them that makes fans want more.

PikkonOtherWorldTNV

Pikkon is one of these characters, and this Piccolo-like character has had fans wanting him to appear in the series more for quite some time now.

tumblr_md6p3ovNXz1qcsesho1_400

He only appears in a handful of filler episodes on the Grand Kai’s Planet, but he is one of the most powerful characters in the series (at least during the time that he was introduced). During Goku’s stay in the Other World, we find out that anyone that has died a heroic death is allowed to keep their body in order to train in death.

There are so many unanswered questions about Pikkon, and I am sure that you have read memes on the internet about him.

pikkondbz

Above is one of my favorite memes, and it does create more curiosity about Pikkon’s demise. We do not know how long he has been dead, but I think that it is safe to say that he was not as powerful as he was shown to be in the series during the time of his death.

tumblr_mjzdue5r9M1r72ht7o1_500

Seriously, he took out King Cold and Frieza as easily as Beerus took out Super Saiyan 3 Goku!

Most fans are quick to assume that Pikkon is Super Saiyan 2-tier after he “defeated” Cell with one attack! I must admit that I thought the same back when I first got into DB, but you have to take into consideration that Pikkon caught Cell completely off-guard.

PikkonBurningShot

His Burning Shoot attack is similar to the Kaio-Ken which is a power boosting technique for a temporary increase in strength and speed.

Similar to how Master Shen’s Dodon Ray could be seen as the counterpart of Master Roshi’s Kamehameha. You could speculate that the Burning Shoot was West Kai’s own technique to rival North Kai’s Kaio-Ken.

WestKai

That would make sense considering that the two were always competing with each other, and their techniques would rival each other.

While the Kaio-Ken gives the user a blazing aura, the Burning Shoot literally gives the user a “blazing aura” of flames! It is unknown if the technique allows Pikkon to increase it multiple levels like the Kaio-Ken, but it was shown to be extremely powerful during the one time that we actually saw it used.

PikkonThuderFlash

I think it is safe to assume that during life, Pikkon did not have techniques in his arsenal such as the Burning Shoot or the Thunder Flash Attack. Those moves probably came from his training with the West Kai.

Pikkon_Clothing

Moving back to the subject of his power, I think that he might be Super Saiyan 2-tier at his maximum; when removing his weights to increase his power.

tumblr_mgnyex71F01qfbz1so1_500

The proof of this comes from the brief moment that Goku uses the Super Kaio-Ken. Even though he was dead, Goku’s body could not handle the increase in strength that the technique provided.

Super Kaio-Ken basically doubled Full Power Super Saiyan Goku’s power level, and that is basically equal to what his power would have been as a Super Saiyan 2.

tumblr_npos7uP84h1usdbrio1_500

Remember that Super Saiyan 2 is twice the power of Super Saiyan 1/Full Power Super Saiyan, but the Kaio-Ken arguably puts a greater strain on the body than a regular Super Saiyan transformation. King Kai says that using the techniques in a damaged/weakened state, or going too high in the Kaio-Ken levels could destroy the user’s body.

Goku was weakened during his fight with Pikkon, but his opponent barely had a scratch on him. “Super Saiyan 2 Goku” (Super Kaio-Ken) was able to land a single punch that sent Pikkon into one of the orbiting planets or moons above the arena, but he was able to recover quickly for a counterattack.

gokuvspikkonep199

Given the fact that Pikkon took a “Super Saiyan 2” level punch to the face without any damage hints at his power potentially giving the likes of even Super Saiyan 2 Gohan from the Cell Games a run for his money!

Keep in mind that this is Pikkon WITHOUT using the Burning Shoot to further increase his power!

Gohan-dragon-ball-z-34844057-500-374

Full Power Super Saiyan Gohan’s power was greater than Goku’s was during his time at the Cell Games. However, it wasn’t a massive gap in power between father-and-son. With that being said, if Goku went Super Saiyan 2 during the Cell Games, Gohan would be stronger…but not by THAT much power.

4243305-pikkondbz

In any case, we can assume that Pikkon’s death was probably due to a fight that ended to him losing his life due to defeat or sacrificing himself for someone else (like Goku did against Raditz and Cell).

This could explain his serious personality and desire to get stronger. Perhaps his motivation for training was to prevent him from losing to anyone else again, or to protect people from threats even in death. This just goes to show how noble of a character he is.

DragonBallZVillainsInHell

Considering that Grand Kai sends him to Hell to calm down new inmates, we know that he is a character not to be taken lightly in strength and he was potentially the #1 fighter in Other World until Goku died fighting Cell.

4019765-1298944739-Pikko

We know that his Piccolo-like personality was “erased” during Fusion Reborn. Writers from the show say that this was done in order to separate his character from Piccolo because if you re-watch the Other World Tournament Saga, it is almost impossible to not see Pikkon as just another Piccolo.

Pikkon_ssj4_goku

Overall, he is a great character that I would not mind seeing during Dragon Ball Super or other DB related media. Canon or non-cannon, I think that he is one of my favorite characters from the show!

tumblr_mgnzm1HHBs1qfbz1so1_500

How do you think Pikkon died? How strong do you think he was before dying, and how strong do you think he was when he met Goku? Could he defeat Super Saiyan 2 Gohan in his prime?

Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots Theory: Can Oscar Be Trusted?

By Jeremy Carden

11907208_914450651960723_2040476160599964211_n

Sad to say, but Season 3 will soon be coming to a close. However, fans can rejoice in knowing that Season 4 will be coming in early 2016!

1467310_10204614343105141_4838715549699613062_n

For the first time, we have seen Candace show her vulnerable side to another person. This occurred when she opened up to Oscar about who she is, and how her past has shaped her into the person that she is today.

It is hard to believe that after all we have seen Candace do since Season 1; she is finally dropping her guard and allowing another person into her life.

However, as touching as it is to give her some character development aside from being a gold digging temptress; she could be getting two-timed!

Screenshot_4

Fans (and even Candace) cannot help but wonder about whether Oscar can truly be trusted…

After Oscar was introduced, I wrote a blog about my thoughts on who he is. In the end, I speculated that he was hired by David in order to get back the money that Candace extorted from Jim.

Don’t believe that theory to be true?

screenshot_68

If not, I think that the face David makes while staring Oscar down at the Sarandon Hotel dining room says it all!

Screenshot_1

Maggie asked him why he kept staring at that man (Oscar), but David said that it was nothing. We know that David told Candace that he likes to stalk his prey before striking, and I think that he has some hand in getting Jim’s money back.

Screenshot_36

Given recent events, the friendship between Jim and David is severely damaged. Even if Oscar is working for David, I am not sure how things will go down if he does get the money back.

Some fans have speculated that Oscar works for Jim, but I do not think that is the case.

You have to remember that before Jim revealed to David that Candace extorted $7.4 million from his bank account; no one else knew what had happened.

77d7c48db8390758d1d191bcc1adaa2e

The only other person who knew was Katheryn, and that was because she was notified by the bank about the large sum of money leaving the account. Remember that she holds Jim’s balls in one hand, and the purse strings in the other!

screen-shot-2015-02-11-at-12-33-33-pm

Oscar was at the Sarandon Hotel glancing over at Candace BEFORE Jim told David. Remember that Jim went from the “War Room” on a bus ride to his campaign office, but went home instead after finding out Amanda was dead.

While everyone was at the Cryer Mansion, Jim was not in his right mind to think of a scheme to get the money back.

screenshot_151

During the police investigation at the Cryer Manson, Landon (at the hotel) told Candace that there was a guy checking her out. What is interesting was that Candace quickly jotted down the clothes that he was wearing, and how much they cost.

What catches my attention was that Candace glanced at Oscar when he walked in, and said the following about his outfit:

  • Italian suit that is hand-stitched
  • $15,000 watch
  • $3,000 shoes
  • She even said that he had a small package

This does mean he has a lot of money considering that in the episode where he invites Candace to go to New York with him, Candace takes his shirt which Oscar said was $1,500!

screenshot_5 (1)

Landon squashed Candace’s conclusion of Oscar not having money after looking him up on the internet. He found that Oscar is a wealthy man with an investment firm.

Some fans have speculated that Oscar was given money by one of the “Haves” to get back at Candace. However, considering he has a private jet, owns his own firm, etc. I am a bit skeptical…

The-Haves-and-the-Have-Nots-A-Talk-with-JIm-1

Remember that people like Katheryn and David know a lot of powerful people, and I am sure that if they find themselves in a bind; they can call on one of their friends to help them out.

Whoever sent Oscar to tail Candace would have to have known that she was going to the Sarandon Hotel.

ep203-own-hhn-2-949x534

We know that David, Maggie, Landon and Candace’s unknown contact at the Sarandon Hotel (the one who acquired Maggie’s phone) were there. I would say that Veronica was the one to send Oscar, but she thought that Candace was staying with Jeffrey without leaving because she called Quincy to go over to attack her. However, Candace left soon after Veronica left to go to the Sarandon.

Screenshot_14

If you ask me, it all goes back to Jim’s banker (Lloyd Bowman) and the fact that Candace sent Jim’s bank a wire transfer request to her account. I think that somehow within the transfer of money, something funny went down.

Then throw in the fact that Oscar now has Candace’s account information after the events of last week’s episode. Yes, something fishy is going on here!

the-haves-and-the-have-nots_1_34_640x480_53bd41c5c404c

Even though he seems to be a genuine guy that cares about Candace, this show has proven that EVERYONE has something to hide. Not to mention that some (if not most characters) are who they say they are…

Considering that Candace has seen how Oscar is good when it comes to making investment and giving inside information about what to “bid” on next; Candace might put all of her “earnings” into Oscar’s care…which will lead to her downfall.

Screenshot_8

I think that she is opening up way too much, and she is going to end up a “Have Not” again!

Oscar is going to get his $500,000 back from Candace one way or another, and he might just take the rest of her ill-gotten funds with him!

He was either sent to go after Candace by a “Have” or who knows he could be operating on his own accord. Oscar did say that he would have sex with woman after woman due to the grief of his wife dying. He could have made some money from conning women in the past!

It just struck me as strange that he seemed to be coming on a bit too strong when it came to Candace. I did like the fact that he was a man not looking for anything from her at first but friendship (although he wanted sex at first).

If Oscar is conning Candace out of her money, he is doing one heck of a job! Not only is he potentially going to break her financially, but emotionally as well. Keep in mind that Candace broke “Jim’s bank” and his spirit! After all of the torture and humiliation that she put him through, there was barely anything left of Jim to take advantage of.

Whoever sent him after Candace might want him to do the same thing to her, or it could just be karma because what goes around comes around!

Oscar knows that Quincy Jr. is her heart, and I always found it odd that he would suggest that she go see Quincy Sr. in prison…I smell a potential encounter between Qunicy and Oscar in the future.

Remember the last time Q found out that another man was “hitting his chick…”

Also remember that Hanna let a man into her personal life (Byron), and it turned out that he was spying on her on behalf of Jim.

Like mother like daughter because Candace could be in a similar situation with a man just like Hanna!

The speculations are endless, and I cannot wait to see if we find out who he REALLY is during the Season 3 finale in a couple of weeks!

Do you think that Oscar is a genuine man, or will he turn the tables on Candace who has been the series’ two-timing queen? If Oscar really is a conman, who do you think sent him to setup Candace?
